So…does “charity” come in under “missions” or “other”? Looks like a pretty basic business model to me, minus the taxation of course. So why aren’t we taxing these places again?

charity falls under ‘missions’ because, while aiming to get members, they are doing charitable things :Ualso falls under ‘facilities’ as often times churches will allow their buildings to be used for good causes, such as the local Narcotics Anonymous meeting, or an overnight homeless shelter, etc. Lastly, charity would fall under Church Programs, because often times a church will organize a program to gather canned goods, coats/jackets, or plain old monetary donations for the needy/homeless/etc in the area.
Charity falls under a lot of things a good church does. Mind you I said a good church, there aren’t many of those around sad to say.
There are a lot of churches *coughespmegachurchescough* that do diddly squat but rake in the moneys and make tv shows.
